The Lions Club of Chattogram Baklia hosted its charge handover and induction ceremony, along with a reception for the district governor team and oath-taking for new members, at the Halima Rokeya Memorial Hall.
The first session was conducted by the clubโs former president Pradip Chowdhury Tinku and presided over by outgoing president Lion Luvna Humayun Sumi, while the second session was chaired by Lion A.S.M. Shahadat Hossain, president for the 2025โ26 service year.
The programme began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by former secretary Lion Abul Monsur. The oath of allegiance was administered by former president and region chairperson Lion Humayun Kabir Himu. Later, District Governor Lion Mosle Uddin Ahmed Opu PMJF administered the induction oath to new members, including Golam Kibria and Saiful Islam Nirab, among others.
The newly formed executive committee for the 2025โ26 service year comprises:

Treasurer: Lion Sajjad Mahmud Russel
District Governor of Lions District 315-B4 Lion Mosle Uddin Ahmed Opu PMJF attended as chief guest. Special guests included Immediate Past District Governor Lion Kohinur Kamal MJF, First Vice District Governor Lion Kamruzzaman Liton MJF, Second Vice District Governor Lion Abu Bakkar Siddique PMJF, Past District Governor and BCB Director Lion Monzurul Alam Monju PMJF, Cabinet Secretary Lion Abu Morshed, Cabinet Treasurer Lion Gazi Md. Shahidullah MJF, GLT District Coordinator Lion Ashesh Kumar Ukil MJF, GST District Coordinator Lion Morshedul Haque, LCIF District Coordinator Lion Nabiul Haque Sumon, Relief & Disaster Chairperson Lion Md. Humayun Kabir, and Concern Region Chairperson Lion Kazi Mahbubul Alam, among other senior district leaders.
The overall programme coordination was overseen by the clubโs key organiser Lion Md. Humayun Kabir. Former president and region chairperson Lion A.K.M. Salauddin MJF delivered the welcome address.
Chief Guest District Governor Mosle Uddin Ahmed Opu stated that dedicating oneself to humanitarian service is the essence of Lionism. He lauded the Baklia Club as one of the leading clubs in the district and expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all its members for their continued efforts.
