The Chief Custodian of Mohammadia Khanqah Sharif, Ashiq-e-Rasul Muhammad Kamrul, has announced that participants of the ongoing 12-day Ashiq-e-Rasul (SAW) Milad Mahfil will receive allowances, food, and special gifts.
Speaking on the fourth day of the Mahfil at West Khulshi Jalalabad Freedom Fightersโ Housing Area, Kamrul said, โEid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) is one of the most joyous occasions for Muslims. To honour it nationally, government and private institutions should introduce a festival allowance. I will personally provide allowances and gifts for all participants.โ
He added that nationwide implementation of the allowance would allow the public to celebrate this sacred day with greater ease and joy.
The Mahfil also featured a lecture on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by chief guest Syed Muhammad Mamunur Rashid Amiri Maizbhandari. The sessionโs distinguished discussant was Mufti Riaz Uddin Satyanagari, Khalifa of Satyanagar Khanqah-e-Qadiriya Sharif.
The event was conducted by Advocate Mir Muhammad Ferdous Alam Selim. Other notable attendees included Mufti Saleh Sufian Maizbhandari, Khatib of Model Mosque Abu Ahmad Ahzari, war hero Muhammad Rustam Ali, Maulana Mansurul Haq, and Saiful Islam Sohas.
