On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, OBAT HelpersโChattogram organized a special event for children with disabilities at Segunbagan in KhulshiโPahartoli, Chattogram. The venue was filled with joy and laughter as the children actively participated in the celebrations.
The event was presided over by Sohail Akhter Khan, Project Manager of OBAT Helpers. Distinguished guests included Ilias Ripon, founder of Manobik Chattogram, and M.A. Jalil, Founder and Executive Director of Popular Jankalyan Foundation. Also present were Rizia Parveen, Headmistress of OBAT Junior High School, and Farah, Coordinator of the disability organization โUcchashโ.
The guests emphasized the importance of regular initiatives to ensure the social inclusion of children with disabilities. During the event, food items were distributed among the children, and winter gifts were provided to their families. The program offered both joy and learning opportunities for the children, making it a memorable day.
