Ashiq-e-Rasul (PBUH) Milad Mahfil Held at Mohammadia Khanqah Sharif on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH)

A 12-day Ashiq-e-Rasul (PBUH) Milad Mahfil is underway at the Mohammadia Khanqah Sharif in observance of the holy Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
On the second day of the programme, speakers discussed the contributions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as an ideal statesman and model for building a just society. The eventโs convener and chief khadem of Mohammadia Khanqah Sharif, Ashiq-e-Rasul Muhammad Kamrul, said, โThe Prophet (PBUH) is the guiding light for humanity and a complete example of ideal leadership.โ
Guest speaker SM Borhan Talukdar, khatib of Madambibirhat Baitun Nur Jame Mosque, delivered a keynote address. The chief guest, Hazrat Allama Pirzada Mawlana Syed Iqbal Fazl Al Hasani of Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif, also spoke and led a special prayer.
The event was moderated by Nur Ferdous Alam Selim. Notable attendees included Mufti Saleh Sufian Farhadabadi Maizbhandari, model mosque khatib Abu Ahmad Ahzari, Mawlana Monsurul Haque, Mawlana Zakaria, freedom fighter Mohammad Rustam Ali, Qari Mosaddeq, Abul Kalam, Mir Hossain, poet Masud Reza Al Qaderi, Asif, Master Zainal, Monir Hossain, and Hafez Miraj.
