Charge Handover and New Service Year Activities of Lions Club of Chittagong Parijat

The Lions Club of Chittagong Parijat, under Lions International District 315-B4 Bangladesh, held its Charge Handover & Takeover Ceremony, DG Team Reception, New Member Induction and Service Activities on Thursday (August 21, 2025) at the Halima Rokeya Hall of CLFA.
The programme was presided over by Lion Abdur Rahman Khokon, president for the 2025โ26 service year, and moderated by Lion Luvna Humayun Sumi.
District Governor for 2025โ26 Lion Mosleh Uddin Ahmed Apu, PMJF attended as the chief guest, while Immediate Past District Governor Lion Kohinur Kamal, MJF was present as the special guest. Also in attendance were 1st Vice District Governor Lion Kamruzzaman Liton, MJF, and 2nd Vice District Governor Lion Abu Bakkar Siddique, PMJF.
The event began with a welcome address by Region Chairperson (RC HQ Exhibits) Lion Helal Uddin Ahmed. Speeches were delivered by LCIF District Coordinator Lion AKM Nobiul Haque Sumon, GST District Coordinator Lion Morshedul Haque Chowdhury, GMT District Coordinator Lion Ashish Kumar Ukil, MJF, Cabinet Treasurer Lion Gazi Md Shahidullah, MJF, and Cabinet Secretary Lion Abu Morshed.
Remarks were also made by 1st Vice District Governor Lion Kamruzzaman Liton, MJF, Immediate Past District Governor Lion Kohinur Kamal, MJF, and the chief guest District Governor Lion Mosleh Uddin Ahmed Apu, PMJF.
The programme was conducted in two sessions. The first session was chaired by outgoing president for 2024โ25 Lion Md Fakhrul Alam, while the second session saw the formal takeover by the new president Lion Abdur Rahman Khokon.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and greetings to all attendees from the newly installed president.
