Chattogram, December 5, 2025: The ‘UNITY’ Lions International Leo Youth Camp 2026 Pre-Camp was held today in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere at the Halima Rokeeya Hall, Lions Foundation, Chattogram. The event also celebrated the 68th International Leo Day 2025.
The program was presided over by Leo District President Md. Shaukat Hossain. The inauguration was officially declared by District Governor Lion Moslehuddin Ahmed Apu PMJF and Lady Governor Lion Shirin Akter Kashfi of Lions District 315-B4, Bangladesh. In his speech, the District Governor emphasized, “Leos are the torchbearers of tomorrow. Their creativity and collective efforts will drive the nation forward.”
Other dignitaries who spoke at the inauguration included Lady Governor Shirin Akter Kashfi, Cabinet Secretary Lion Abu Morshed, GLT District Coordinator Lion Jahanara Begum MJF, Leo Clubs Chairperson Lion Shubha Naz Jinia MJF, Leo Youth Exchange Chairperson Lion Khalilullah Chowdhury Sakib, along with advisory committee members Lion Sultana Nurjahan Rozi and Lion Saiful Islam.
The pre-camp featured three exciting events: “The Voice of Leo,” “President’s Speech,” and “Leos Got Talent.” Participants showcased their talents and skills, with the top seven performers from each event selected for the final competition at the main camp.
Special guests included Former District Governors, Vice District Governors, Cabinet Members, and Past Leo Leaders, who all motivated and inspired the young Leos throughout the day.
The event was efficiently managed by a dedicated team including Leo Club Chairperson Lion Shubha Naz Jinia MJF, Leo Youth Exchange Chairperson Lion Khalilullah Chowdhury Sakib, District Vice-President & Camp Chairman Leo Md. Sifatul Islam Sami, District Secretary Leo Rafid Md. Ahnaf, Treasurer Leo Hossain Md. Imran Nixon, and other members of the Camp Advisory and Sub-Committees.
Concluding the pre-camp, District President Leo Md. Shaukat Hossain called on all participants to ensure a successful ‘UNITY’ Lions International Leo Youth Camp 2026 scheduled for 8–9 January 2026. The celebration also included the 68th International Leo Day 2025 and the birthday of District Governor Lion Moslehuddin Ahmed Apu PMJF, in the presence of esteemed Lions and Leo leaders.
