Lions Club of Chittagong Karnaphuli Convenes for Monthly Assembly

The Lions Club of Chittagong Karnaphuli held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday afternoon at the conference room of Confidence Cementโs corporate office in Agrabad.
The meeting was presided over by Club President Lion Md. Iqbal Hossain Sumon for the 2025โ26 service year. Club Secretary Lion Tirthankar Barua conducted the session.
District Governor Lion Mosleh Uddin Ahmed Apu graced the event as the chief guest, while Past District Governor (PDG) Lion Rupam Kishore Barua attended as a special guest. The program began with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Lion Engineer Abul Kashem, followed by the pledge of allegiance led by Club Treasurer Lion Samiran Barua.
To honor the occasion, PDG Rupam Kishore Barua welcomed the District Governor with a bouquet on behalf of the club. The Club President then handed over the district dues cheque to the District Governor.
In his address, the District Governor urged all Lions members to work together with unity and renewed dedication. He encouraged cabinet members to register for the upcoming Cabinet Meeting and emphasized the importance of humanitarian engagement with a spirit of generosity and compassion.
Prominent attendees included Region Chairperson Lion Md. Zahir Uddin Helal, Lion Dulal Kanti Barua, Lion Shahriar Iqbal, Lion Delwar Hossain, Lion Hasibuddin Ahmed Chowdhury Rashed, Lion Jiku Barua, Lion Md. Faisal Mia, Lion Ashish Kanti Palit, Lion Rajib Barua, and Leo Club President Dipto Dey, among others.
