On the occasion of the Great Victory Day, the Greater Shershah Jatiyatabadi Chhatra and Jubo Parishad organized a day-long sports competition titled “Victory Day Sports Competition–2025” with the participation of children, adolescents, and youths.

The event was held on Saturday (December 16) at the Shershah Eidgah Field, where various sports events were conducted throughout the day.

Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, BNP Chattogram Divisional Co-Organizing Secretary and prospective BNP candidate (Sheaf of Paddy symbol) for Chattogram-5 constituency, attended the programme as the chief guest.

The programme was presided over by Md Mamun Alam, Convener of Greater Shershah Jatiyatabadi Chhatra and Jubo Parishad and Convener of BNP’s 44 No. Organizational Ward.

In the friendly football match, Helal Football Academy emerged as champions defeating Shershah Tarun Chhatra and Jubo Samaj by 1-0 goal, who finished as runners-up.

The event was conducted by Jahangir Alam Babu, Member Secretary of the Celebration Committee, and Abdur Rashid Chowdhury Titu.

Among the special guests were Syed Azam Uddin, Joint Convener of Chattogram Metropolitan BNP; Mohammad Sahed, former Central Assistant Vice-President of Jubo Dal and former General Secretary of Chattogram Metropolitan Jubo Dal; Iqbal Chowdhury, SM Abul Fayez, Abdullah Al Harun, former President of Bayezid Thana BNP; Shariful Islam Tuhin, Member Secretary of Chattogram Metropolitan Chhatra Dal; Saber Ahmed Tarzan, Member Secretary of Metropolitan Krishak Dal; Mohammad Belal, Convener of 2 No. Jalalabad Ward BNP; Jafar Ahmed Khokon, Member Secretary of 44 No. Organizational Ward BNP; and Abdul Karim, Member Secretary of 2 No. Jalalabad Ward BNP, among others.
